Relationships with business partners

We are committed to conducting business in a responsible and sustainable way. We have constructive and long-term relationships with business partners whose values align with our own.

This means that we:

  • Act with integrity and fairness in our dealings with our business partners and expect them to do the same
  • Conduct appropriate due diligence, including sustainability-related checks, on our business partners
  • Ensure that our Supplier Code is part of our contractual agreements with relevant business partners
  • Actively listen to our customers to understand their needs and expectations, working with them in an innovative and proactive manner

Know our partners

Engaging with any third party exposes us to some degree of risk, so it is important to review each of them properly.

  • Decide the risk level of each third party based on factors such as location, goods or services they will provide, value of the transaction and type of organization

  • Conduct an appropriate level of due diligence based on the assessed risk

  • For third parties that present a higher level of risk, there are mandatory due diligence requirements

  • Carry out sanctions screening where necessary

  • Ensure you know the ultimate beneficial owners of each organization

  • Follow up with appropriate monitoring and auditing as the relationship progresses
