Sponsorship

We select sponsoring activities that focus on opportunities that are related to our business and align with our values and strategy on sustainability. We make sure that we approach any sponsorship arrangements with integrity and transparency.
This means that we:

A sponsorship is a transaction made with the expectation of a commercial benefit. When we make a payment, in cash or in kind, to associate our brand with an activity or organization, that is considered a sponsorship.

A customer asked me if Skanska would sponsor her daughter’s youth soccer team. What should I do?
Our sponsorships should be transparent, mutually beneficial commercial arrangements that do not create any conflict of interest, such as the appearance of customer favoritism. There should also be a clear connection to our values and business. As these conditions are not met in this circumstance, please decline the sponsorship request.
